Appearance[]
Okachimachi wears a panda costume with the Oinky Doink Café bow and badge.
Under the mascot head, Okachimachi is a woman with dark brown hair braided in two low pigtails and gray eyes. She wears a pair of Oinky Doink ears and a pink clip, similar to Yasuko Yaegashi's.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Okachimachi's personality; however, she supports her co-workers with their situations, as seen in various episodes. She considers the time she spends at Oinky Doink Café to be her dearest memories.
Background[]
The mascot of the Oinky Doink Cafe, despite being a panda instead of a pig. Since she wears a necktie and a name tag, the panda is treated as a maid, and her photo is pasted on the board at the entrance.
In Episode 2, Okachimachi opens the main gas valve in the Maid Casino's kitchen, triggering an explosion in the building.
In Episode 4, Okachimachi and manager are kicked out of the café by Minori Sano after she has deemed both of them as a bad influence on the maids. The two spend their time digging through trashcans for food and sleeping on the street while the maids are forced to go through rigorous training. Eventually, Shiipon brings both of them back.
In Episode 5, she witnessed Ranko and Nagomi being kidnapped by Kaoruko from Maid Sheep and informs the staff at the Oinky Doink Cafe about what happened. Later, after killing Kaoruko and the other maids, she steals the profits from her birthday event and earns Yasuko's praise.
In Episode 7, she is shown looking down at the bodies of three Maidalien Group maids that she killed outside of the Oinky Doink Café before noticing Nagomi and Ranko chase after Minami and Miyabi.
In Episode 8, she participates in the baseball match between Oinky Doink Café and Memory Lane Animal Café, playing first base.
In Episode 9, Okachimachi is bullied by the Cat Ace Maid, who throws her lit cigarette into the costume, causing the panda to run to the nearest water fountain. Later, Okachimachi is seen with glowsticks and cheering on the Oinky Doink Café maids during the Lady Omoe Climb.
In Episode 10, after trying to stop Ranko from going out on a date, Okachimachi's backstory is revealed. Her true identity is of a girl who came to Akihabara to become a maid years prior. She longed to be a maid and rose through the ranks. Suehiro becomes her master at the café, who would frequently visits her. She was then tasked to kill a rival café manager, Michiyo, Ranko's cafe manager, thinking it would lead to her getting promoted. However, immediately after she runs away from the scene, Suehiro attempts to strangle her, and it is revealed she was just a pawn to be murdered. Although she escaped just in time, she was hit by a car and presumed dead. She limped to a nearby train station covered in wounds, saw a panda statue, and thought, "I want to be a panda". From then on, she started wearing a panda costume in an attempt to mask her true identity. Eventually, she was invited by Yasuko Yaegashi, who saw her lingering in front of the café to join Oinky Doink Café as a mascot. Okachimachi kills Suehiro in fear that Ranko will be in danger. After Ranko returns and realizes that Okachimachi killed Suehiro, she asked if Okachimachi was going back to being silent again. She told Ranko that she has one more thing to tell her before resuming her silence: that Nagi was the one who ordered the hit on Michiyo 15 years ago and that she had also ordered Suehiro to kill Ranko.
In Episode 11, she was found by the Oinky Doink Café maids beaten and taped up to the Akiba Radio Building sign. After the panda head fell down onto the sidewalk, the crowd gasps before the maid who had been inside the costume appeared, wearing a slimmer panda costume. After she puts the head back on, Yasuko finds a note attached on the panda's forehead, revealing that the Oinky Doink Cafe has been disowned by the Creatureland Group. Later, she accompanied Yasuko, Yumechi, Shiipon, and Zoya to kidnap the Lion Ace Maid and take over Dazzlion.
In the Final Episode Okachimachi accompanied Yasuko, Yumechi, Shiipon, and Zoya to Ranko's funeral and mourned with them. After Nagomi returns to the café, Okachimachi began whittling a piece of bamboo to form a sharp point. She later went to Dorama with the entire staff and ate a bowl of ramen with them, as they dedicated one bowl to Ranko. During the takeover of the Oinky Doink Café, after Nagi shot Nagomi several times in a fit of rage, Okachimachi threw a sharpened bamboo spear at Nagi, killing her. In the post-credit scene, a picture of Okachimachi and her nametag are displayed on Nagomi's wheelchair.
Relationships[]
Ranko Mannen[]
Okahimachi is the maid who killed Michiyo and carries guilt for killing someone who meant so much to Ranko. After confessing the truth, she expects Ranko to kill her, but instead, Ranko shoots the Panda's head, saying Michiyo wouldn't want her to get revenge. To make it up to Ranko, she shoots Suehiro, who Nagi sent to kill her.
Suehiro[]
Suehiro pretended to be Okachimachi's master when she worked as a maid. However, he was actually hired to kill her after she eliminated Michiyo and narrowly escaped with her life. He figures Nagi hired him to take Ranko and café out of revenge. She shoots him on his way to see Ranko, to protect Ranko, unaware that Suehiro has true feelings for Ranko.
Yasuko Yaegashi[]
Prior to the main storyline, Yasuko found Okachimachi lingering outside the café and joined Oinky Doink Café as a mascot. It is implied Yasuko knows the true identity of the panda. In Episode 4, she offers Okachimachi bamboo when they were trash surfing before remembering the panda was a human. In addition, when Ranko knocks the mascot head off Okachimachi, in Episode 10, the latter has a matching pink clip in her hair that matches the one Yasuko sports in her own, implying she gave it to Okachimachi.
