Lady Omoe (お萌様, Omoe-sama) is a minor character in the Akiba Maid War anime series. She was the first maid of Japan and the inspiration for the Lady Omoe Festival.
Appearance[]
Lady Omoe dressed as a Western Maid and had her hair pulled back in a voluminous bun. Her look was heavily in line with Japan's rapid Westernization and modernization during the time period.
Personality[]
Lady Omoe is said to have fascinated the people of Akihabara with her moe and violence.
Background[]
Lady Omoe was the first maid of Japan during the Meiji era. She served her masters without distinction, while also having the ability to entertain the people of Akihabara with her fighting ability and moe.
Following her passing, an annual festival called the "Lady Omoe Climb" was created in her honor. The participating maids fight and climb up a structure modeled after Lady Omoe. The event's winner is given the title of "Lady Omoe" for the coming year, which also leads to more customers at their respective café and a higher position within their group. For years prior, Nagi manipulated the race to ensure her own café Dazzlion won. However, the Oinky Doink Café broke the pyramid scheme, coming out on top as the winner of the festival with Nagomi Wahira being crowned the year's Lady Omoe.
