What to do when a new episode comes out?[]
Start by enjoying the episode! After watching it, you will want to follow the steps below to document it.
1. How to create a page for an episode?[]
- Click here to see the demo page, then copy and paste the source code into a new page.
- Make sure to read over the entire page, editing the relevant information in.
- The title should be just the name of the episode in English.
- You will want to set up redirects to that page for the Japanese title, and just the episode number.
2. How to update the main page?[]
- Visit Template:Latest Release and open in Source Editor.
- Edit the image to a picture of the title page (a screenshot of the anime when the title of the episode is visible on the screen)
- Add a link to the episode page you just created.
- Add the date the episode got released (usually the English date goes here).
- You will also have to update the Anime Project page at Project:Anime so that mobile users are able to access this.
- Add a new row by copy and pasting the previous episode's row, then substitute the details in.
[]
- Visit Template:Season 1 and edit in Source Editor.
You may wish to make an announcement using Fandom's Announcement feature, or ping @everyone on Discord. You can let the users update the character pages with the details from the episode. Take a well-deserved break!
If a new song is used, what do I do?[]
- If a new opening/ending song is added, then add it in the Template:Season 1 and Template:Anime template as well.
- You will want to update the Music Project page.
